The Condorcet Center for Political Economy is a research center which aims at carrying out research projects and promoting tools in the domain of public policies, at the local, national and international level. The center supports theoretical, empirical and experimental analyses, conducted by the methodologies of economics. In the past years, it has organized many events and joint activities with other research centers. The number of working and published papers proves its dynamism. The host research institute for the Condorcet Center is a CNRS unit, the Center for Research in Economics and Management (CREM).
Within the framework of the Faculty of economics of the University of Rennes 1, two master’s degree training programs have been designed: the master IMEPP (Ingénierie, management et évaluation des politiques publiques) and the International Master in Public Finance. Both master programs provide the students with the necessary skills and knowledge to pursue a career in public finance, policy analysis, consultation, or in applied economic research.
A dynamic research environment
There is no “wall” between professors and students. Professors obviously try the best way to make you understand comprehensively, give you useful insight and explain the story behind some mathematic or equation model.
The professors are very opened to questions and discussion
about the courses as well as future professional advices.
Je tenais à vous remercier pour le master, sa qualité et la variété des enseignements dispensés, puisque je pense honnêtement que je n’aurais pas réussi à décrocher un tel poste sans.
